Today, a group of 16 esteemed conservationists, adventurers and hunters from around the world gathered at the Huon Valley Wildlife Park in Tasmania, Australia to lay witness to the grand opening of Hunted Down Under – Australia’s unique ocean-wildlife hunting experience.
This unique hunting and adventure experience is the brainchild of conservationist and avid outdoorsman, Brendan Mansfield. After years of research and development, including collaborations with experts in multiple related fields, Hunted Down Under is now officially opened and ready to share with Australia’s outdoors and hunting enthusiasts.
The experience begins with a themed-hunting adventure that sends participants deep into the wilds of the Huon Valley. From there, guests will be led by experienced professional guides on any number of twelve potential ocean-wildlife missions. From scuba diving, to fishing, to snorkeling, to whale and dolphin watching, to 4×4 trips, each mission is designed to thrill and educate participants about the wonders of the ocean and the wilds of Australia.
But Hunted Down Under isn’t just about enjoying the beauty of the Australian outback; it’s also about actively participating in conservation efforts. Guests to the experience will join scientists, researchers and conservationists in a variety of activities aimed at better understanding the mortality rates of various species, the amount of pollution in the ocean and waterways, and any other relevant conservation issues facing the Huon Valley.
