In April of 2018, Jared was inspired by a sign he saw that said, “Be the Reason Someone Smiles.” Since then, Jared has been following that motto, in the most visible way possible. Jared started a campaign to do random acts of kindness, called #jollyjaredsmiles. He goes out of his way to make sure people are having a good day. From small acts such as buying coffees, leaving kind notes, and donating food, to bigger projects aimed at helping his community, Jolly Jared is a beacon of sunshine and cheer wherever he goes.
In August of 2018, Jared launched a GoFundMe page to raise money to give back to his community. In the campaign, he hopes to raise $20,000. Already within three months, he has raised over $7,000. The money Jared raises will be used to help fund public parks and play areas, provide school supplies to kids who cannot afford them, and provide resources to those in need.
