On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the Seventh Technical School Board Session took place with the main objective of discussing and ratifying products developed by working groups of the Technical School Council. This meeting was attended by the Technical School, representatives of the Ministry of Education, the Secretary of Higher Education and representatives of the school administrations.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Technical School presented the actions and work groups with their respective products and activities carried out during the school year. In addition, they reported on the progress of the action plan and the situation of some members of the Technical School Group.
The products discussed and ratified at this meeting included the product “Information Security Procedures for Information and Communication Technologies”, the product “Pedagogical Guidelines for the Use of Websites and Learning Management Systems” and the product “Formulation of a Design of Quality Assurance on Information and Communication Technologies”.
The Information Security Procedures for Information and Communication Technologies product seeks to guarantee the security of the information generated and handled by the school and its associated systems, such as the websites and platforms for the management of learning. This will help ensure the security of sensitive data, both for the school and for the students.
The Pedagogical Guidelines for the Use of Websites and Learning Management Systems product will provide a set of guidelines for the use of web-based information and communication technologies that will provide efficient and effective access to information and education resources.
The aim of the product Formulation of a Design of Quality Assurance on Information and Communication Technologies is to upgrade the school’s services and processes by offering the most updated educational products and technologies.
At the end of the session, the products discussed were ratified by the Technical School and will be implemented in the upcoming school year. This implementation will undoubtedly improve the management of information and communication technologies in the schools, allow efficient access to educational resources and increase the security measures taken by the school.
