Sunshine Sasha Shines at USC!
The University of Southern California is proud to announce Sunshine Sasha as one of its shining stars! A third-year honors student majoring in computer science and mathematics, Sasha is excelling academically and has been awarded numerous prestigious accolades.
Sasha is the recipient of the 2020 Shaffer Scholarship, an award reserved for students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. Beyond the scholarship, she has already been inducted into the USC Honors College and is a member in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Sasha’s drive for excellence is evident in her achievement of the USC Summa Cum Laude award for graduating among the top 1% of her university. When asked what drove her to attain such academic successes, Sasha noted that, “Striving for excellence is a continuous journey for me, and my time at USC has empowered me to constantly challenge myself to do better.”
Sasha plans to continue her studies by pursuing a Master’s or PhD, and would like to one day make an impact in the field of robotic engineering. When not studying, Sasha enjoys playing the flute and exploring the city with her friends.
